24 February 2014, London, UK (Press Release) – The British Poker Awards is just one week away, and poker enthusiasts still have a chance to join this historic event.
Members of the public wishing to join the stars of the game at the Hippodrome Casino on March 3rd can purchase tickets from the Hippodrome website to give themselves a chance to meet, or even play poker against, the best poker talents from the UK and abroad.
Some 18 awards will be handed out at the ceremony, organised by Bluff Europe Magazine and sponsored by PokerStars.com, with nominees including two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Matt Perrins and former GUKPT Grand Final champion Sam Grafton among those in attendance.
Both Grafton and PokerStars Team Online member Mickey Petersen will also have bounties on their heads in a specially organised bounty tournament on the night. Whoever knocks them out earns a seat into a satellite for the Hippodrome Spring Classic and the winner of the tournament earns a seat in the £250 buy-in tournament itself.
“With live music, a great new venue and the UK and Europe’s top poker talent in attendance, The British Poker Awards is an event that no one can afford to miss,” said Michael Caselli, editor-in-chief of Bluff Europe Magazine.
“The British public have had their say by voting for this year’s winners, and we are delighted to extend an invitation to anyone who wants to become part of poker history.”
The British Poker Awards ceremony will take place on March 3rd at the Hippodrome Casino in London’s West End, beginning with a drinks reception at 6pm where members of the public can mingle with the nominees.
After the ceremony itself at 7pm, where 18 awards including Player of the Year will be handed out, a special one-off bounty will take place with a first prize of a seat in the Hippodrome Spring Classic to be awarded as well as five satellite seats.
Live music will be provided by The Dukes of Mayfair, and cash games in any poker variant from No Limit Hold’Em to Open Face Chinese will take place all through the night. Votes on the Readers’ Choice categories are being counted, while tickets are available from www.hippodromecasino.com.

PokerStars.com to sponsor British Poker Awards
4 October 2013 (London, UK) - As poker fans begin to vote in their droves for their favourite players of 2013 at www.thebritishpokerawards.com, organisers Bluff Europe have announced that this year’s event will be sponsored by PokerStars.com, the world’s biggest online poker room.

Bluff Europe and PokerStars are currently working on a date and venue for the fourth annual British Poker Awards, which is expected to be a glittering evening packed with some of the biggest names in poker.
Despite corporate backing, the awards will retain the impartiality and democratic voting system of previous years, say the organisers.
Nominees are chosen by a committee comprised of an independent group of poker journalists, including Jesse May and representatives from PokerNews.com and PokerStrategy.com, as well as Bluff Europe, and then put to online public vote. PokerNews.com and PokerStrategy.com are official BPA media partners.
“PokerStars are committed to promoting poker when and wherever possible and that’s why I think this was a perfect fit for them,” said Bluff Europe’s Michael Caselli.
“Sponsorship means that we can produce an event that’s bigger and better than ever, while retaining the impartiality of the British Poker Awards. That was very important to PokerStars when they came on board and it’s very important to us too.”

New Online Networking Tool and Two Intensive Workshops New Features of Budapest Affiliate Conference 2010
iGB Affiliate Events are determined to follow the success of the iGaming Super Show in Prague by making their next affiliate event, Budapest Affiliate Conference 2010 better than ever. Two brand new features designed to enhance delegates’ experience have been added: a new online networking accelerator tool and two intensive industry-specific training workshops.
iGB Affiliate Events pride themselves on knowing that delegates come to their shows to create successful relationships within the online gambling affiliate market. In an effort to advance this winning reputation, they have invested in a new state-of-the-art networking tool which will facilitate over 3,000 connections between delegates prior to BAC 2010 and are delighted to have the support of Roxy Affiliates in making this happen. This comprehensive tool will allow every delegate to communicate before, after and during the show to create meetings and start business conversations to ensure they maximise their time at the event. Every registered delegate to BAC 2010 will receive a personalised email in the first week of September detailing their own unique log-in information and instructions to specify their preferences and be matched with likeminded delegates.
“The iGaming events and affiliate conferences play a large part in providing a platform that allows operators to get to know both new and existing affiliates on a personal level in a relaxed, sociable atmosphere.” Lee-Ann Johnstone, Affiliate Manager for Roxy Affiliates stated “Roxy Affiliates has always advocated the importance of communication to maintain solid business relationships and therefore when the opportunity to sponsor the conference networking tool arose, we jumped at the chance to participate. Anyone who’s attended an affiliate event will know how quickly time can pass by, so we hope this tool will help encourage delegates to get in touch with one another to benefit from extending business relationships in advance to the event”
iGB Affiliate Events are keen to ensure that delegates will not only leave BAC 2010 with thriving new business and marketing relationships, but in turn they will also provide individuals with the opportunity to expand and experience first hand the latest developments in social marketing and search engine strategy. The iGB Training Workshops have been set up to compliment the famed and exhaustive BAC conference schedule, by providing in-depth training in small classroom settings to ensure informal one-to-one discussions and exposure to the latest web marketing tactics. The workshops; Social Media Secrets for Your Business and Advances Link Building & SEO, will run on Thursday 7th October from 09:00-15:00 and if booked by the 1st of September delegates will receive an Early Bird £50 discount. Places are obviously limited as only 60 tickets are available for 1,400 expected BAC delegates.
For more information on the iGB Training Workshops or the BAC Networking Tool, simply register to attend the Budapest Affiliate Conference 2010, held at the SYMA Centre from the 7th – 10th October. As always entry to BAC is completely FREE for all Affiliates and includes transport to and from the Budapest Marriott Hotel to the SYMA Centre, all networking parties, conference seminars, lunch, and a massive exhibition with 70+ exhibitors.
